We welcomed the 2026 Lunar New Year with an Unforgettable Journey Through Taiwan and Vietnam, traveling from LAX to Taipei and onward through two vibrant cultures filled with celebration, scenery, and connection. In Taipei, we explored bustling night markets, visited Lungshan Temple, wandered Jiufen Old Street, marveled at Yehliu Geopark and Shifen Waterfall, and took in the skyline from Taipei 101. We journeyed into the misty mountains of Alishan National Park, walking among ancient cedar forests and experiencing the serene beauty of Taiwan’s highlands, before continuing south to Kaohsiung to see the colorful Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, Pier-2 Art Center, and Cijin Island. In Taichung, we visited Rainbow Village and cultural landmarks before returning to Taipei and flying to Vietnam.
Our Vietnam adventure began in the vibrant energy of Ho Chi Minh City, where we soaked in the festive Tết atmosphere along Nguyen Hue Street. We then traveled to the coastal gem of Quy Nhon, exploring scenic viewpoints, Cham towers, and pristine beaches, and ventured by speedboat to Ky Co, often called the “Maldives of Vietnam,” with its turquoise waters and white sand. From there, we made our way to Hoi An, strolling its lantern-lit UNESCO-listed Ancient Town and floating along the Thu Bon River, before ascending to the breathtaking Golden Bridge at Ba Na Hills near Da Nang. From mountain landscapes and coastal beauty to sacred temples and festive city streets, this Lunar New Year journey was a beautiful tapestry of culture, cuisine, natural wonders, and shared celebration. ✨🏮🎉
