One of my most treasured memories is going to New Zealand - the most beautiful country.
Climbing a volcano had never been on my radar...but OMG, what an adventure.
We had the perfect pairing of a very tough, all-day hike...and then returning to a beautiful, luxury hotel.
We got back just in time for dinner - four courses and wine.
Each day was special and an adventure.
I often look back at my photos and remember how meaningful that journey was.

A 40-Year Dream Realized in the Tien Shan
I waited nearly 40 years to see the western side of the Tien Shan mountains. I remember traveling around Kashgae on the east side and wondering what would see on the other side. This excursion met all my expectations and more. Thank you so much for creating the trip and making it happen so smoothly.
