Inspired by the heart-pounding and spirit driven docuseries "The Road to Dharma", ‘The Trek To Dharma’ itinerary is designed to take us to Uttarakhand, a destination blessed generously by nature and steeped in spirituality. The mind dances with joy when we travel to Kedarnath (Via Helicopter Tour), Badrinath, Chopta, and Valley of flowers, along with Hemkundsahib, Rudraprayag, and Rishikesh. Besides visiting the two major pilgrimage sites, Kedarnath and Badrinath, we get to witness the beauty of Garhwal Himalayan region. Each of the spiritual pilgrimage destination sites is unique by way of their history, mythology and spiritual significance. While Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva, Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. At these religious sites, we can also take in the beauty of the pristine surroundings besides seeking blessings at the temples. At the Valley of Flowers, on the other hand, we get to experience the kind of beauty that the Himalayan region is famous for. It is a place so beautiful that it looks like it has jumped straight out of your most beautiful dreams. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it stretches across 87 sq. km in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The location also enhances its beauty, as it is overlooked by the majestic Zanskar ranges. The valley is also home to around 300 species of alpine flowers and boasts a biodiversity that remains relatively untouched.Among the major highlights, Chopta is one of the major destinations in the itinerary. Known as “Mini Switzerland”, the venue is getting popular with each passing year. Chopta is located at an altitude of 2700 mts. and surrounded by dense forest that offer a majestic view of Snow Clad Himalayan Ranges and lush green meadows. This beautiful venue is also the starting point of the trek to Tungnath Mandir (Known as Panch Kedar Temple) and Chandrashila Summit.Tour Route: USA – Delhi – Agra – Rishikesh – Guptkashi – Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Chopta – Tungnath – Badrinath – GovindGhat – Ghangaria – Valley of Flower – Hemkund Sahib – Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Delhi – USATravel Date: 8/30/2024 – 9/15/2024Price: $5,450Tour Highlights:Badrinath Temple VisitDrive to the beautiful Chopta where we will also trek to Chandrashila Summit and other peaksTrek to Hemkunth SahibExplore the Mana village at JoshimathLose yourself in the beauty of Valley of Flowers (Trek)Watch the confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda riversVisit the Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula in RishikeshExperience the spiritual lifting ‘Aarti’ ceremony at the Triveni GhatYoga and Meditation Session in Rishikesh (optional)View of Taj Mahal at sunriseDelhi sightseeingsItinerary at a Glance:Day 1-3 (Fri, 8.30 - Sun, 9.1): LAX – Delhi – Agra (L.D)Day 4 (Mon, 9.2): Agra Sightseeings – Delhi (B.L.D)Day 5 (Tue, 9.3): Delhi Sightseeings – Train to Haridwar – Rishikesh (B.L.D)Day 6 (Wed, 9.4): Rishikesh – Guptkashi (B.L.D)Day 7 (Thu, 9.5): Guptkashi – Gaurikund – Kedarnath (B.L.D)Day 8 (Fri, 9.6): Kedarnath – Gaurikund – Chopta (B.L.D)Day 9 (Sat, 9.7): Chopta – Tungnath – Chandrashilia – Chopta (B.L.D)Day 10 (Sun, 9.8): Chopta – Badrinath (B.L.D)Day 11 (Mon, 9.9): Badrinath – Govind Ghat – Ghangaria (B.L.D)Day 12 (Tue, 9.10): Ghangaria – Valley of Flower – Ghangaria (B.L.D)Day 13 (Wed, 9.11): Ghangaria – Hemkund Sahib – Ghangaria (B.L.D)Day 14 (Thu, 9.12): Ghangaria – Govind Ghat – Rudraprayag (B.L.D)Day 15 (Fri, 9.13):): Rudraprayag – Rishikesh (B.L.D)Day 16 (Sat, 9.14): Rishikesh – Train to Haridwar – New Delhi (B.L.D)Day 17 (Sun, 9.15): Delhi – LAXPrice Includes:International flights from LAX – Delhi – LAXAll transportations by Private VehiclesFirst-class accommdations on trains4-5* Hotels for Delhi and AgraBest available logging for Trekking partDaily breakfast (B), lunches (L), and dinners (D)Entrance fee and any other fees of the scenic spots as requiredActivities & excursions as listed in the itinerary2 private professional and knowledgeable English speaking mountain guides1 private professional and knowledgeable English speaking city tour guidePrice Excludes:Health insuranceIndia visaTipping: $7 person/day for driver(s) and guide(s).
