Our journey through Laos and Yunnan blended gentle spirituality with breathtaking landscapes. We began in Luang Prabang, where morning alms-giving, golden temples, and lively night markets revealed the heart of Laotian culture. A tranquil Mekong cruise to the Pak Ou Caves, the artisan villages of Ban Xang Khong and Xieng Lek, and the turquoise Kuang Si Waterfall added depth and wonder to our time in this peaceful country.

In Vientiane, quiet temples and Buddha Park offered a final touch of Laos’ charm before we headed into the dramatic beauty of Yunnan. From the ancient streets of Lijiang to the soaring peaks around Shangri-la, we explored ethnic villages, sacred monasteries, and iconic sites like Tiger Leaping Gorge and Black Dragon Pool.
