Our journey through Egypt and Jordan felt like stepping back in time — a passage through the cradle of civilization and the wonders of the ancient world. In Egypt, we stood in awe before the Great Pyramids of Giza and the mysterious Sphinx, timeless guardians of the desert. We sailed gracefully down the Nile River on a traditional felucca, where life along the banks unfolded much as it has for millennia. From the Valley of the Kings in Luxor to the historic city of Alexandria, every site revealed layers of history, mystery, and magnificence.
Crossing into Jordan, the journey continued to inspire. We explored the rose-red city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage treasure carved into towering cliffs, and wandered the vast, cinematic desert of Wadi Rum, where the legacy of Lawrence of Arabia still lingers in the wind. From the sacred peaks of Mount Nebo and the mosaics of Madaba to the tranquil waters of the Dead Sea, Jordan’s beauty was both spiritual and profound.
This remarkable Best of Egypt & Jordan journey — from Cairo to Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea — was a timeless adventure that awakened our sense of wonder and connection to humanity’s ancient roots.
